With just over five months left before the wedding, I am in full on wedding mode! Right now invitations and save the dates are consuming most of my time. I have made invitations for several friends over the past year, so I knew I would make my own to save some money and get exactly what I wanted.
Problem is, exactly what I wanted turned out to be a stamped-by-hand invitation, save the date, information card, RSVP, and envelopes to match. Do you know how much stamping that is? A LOT.
My friend Lauren helped me stamp all of my save the dates and envelopes, which was a huge help. So now it's on to all the other pieces.
Total, I think I'm looking at hand-stamping close to, if not over, ONE THOUSAND PIECES OF PAPER! whoa nelly.
So when you lucky guests get your invitation in the mail, please do me a favor and hang it on your fridge for a bit before you through it away :) I'd hate for all that time spent with a severe hand cramp to be a waste!

Home Sweet Home!
Well folks, we have a permanent home!
After a very stressful few months of Mark finishing up school and interviewing across the country trying to find a job, we are very happy and blessed to say we are staying in Northwest Arkansas!
Mark found a job at Walmart Headquarters, working as a logistics and transportation engineer. I was completely happy with this decision because I wanted to keep my job and stay in the place I loved!
So here we are... getting ready to start the journey of a lifetime. Now that we are permanently in the same city, after over six years of being long distance, we can really get this blog rolling with all the fun and excitement our daily lives hold!
Here's to getting many blessings in 2011!
